With millennia of history and limited space, large cities pose ambitious challenges when it comes to developing new solutions for urban parking, and combining the latest technology with existing facilities.
One example is the installation developed by HUB Italia in Rome for the MA supermarket in the Ostiense district. Located in a residential complex, the supermarket offers customers an underground parking lot whose access is controlled by HUB peripherals completely customized to adapt to the available spaces.
The access ramp to the parking lot, in fact, would not allow the installation of standard size peripherals. For this reason, the HUB Italia team has created a unique solution that would completely adapt to the needs of the site, and secured the barrier in a housing adjacent to the ramp itself.
For MA's customers, no interruptions in and out of the parking lot: the route is fluid, and you can pay the parking directly at the cash desk at the end of the shopping. In fact, the integration of JMS with the supermarket checkout management system allows you to get a discount at the rate directly on the receipt, and pay together with your purchases.
Convenient, no?
